Bengaluru’s idea of a perfect night got a major boost with the launch of RCB Bar and Cafe right in the heart of the city. Spread across 5000 square feet in 1 Sobha Mall, the place overlooks some of the major hotspots like Church Street, MG Road and less than a kilometre away from the den of Royal Challengers Bangalore – M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Mr. Anand Kripalu, MD of Diageo India & Chairman of Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Mr. Venkat Vardhan, founder of DNA Networks inaugurated the bar on 19th of December. On the occasion of the launch, Kripalu said, “It’s an absolute pleasure to see what it [RCB Bar and Café] is today. I think we can really make it a destination thought spot for every visitor who comes to Bengaluru.”
With a 40 feet curvy linear bar, sensory experiences designed with purpose, ranging from the confluence of a bar & cafe in an experiential chic setting, a diverse culinary journey designed with passion & panache, artisanal cocktails, eclectically programmed music, indoor and outdoor seating facilities, sport, live events & more, the place serves as perfect go to destination for the Garden City known for its night and pub culture.
The opening night was a gala affair, with city elites from different fields coming together to grace the occasion. Cricketer Robin Uthappa called the setting very niche, something the Bengalureans will enjoy, predicting it to be chockablock with RCB fans during the season especially.
While presenter Karishma Kotak was in awe of the atmosphere asking every Bengalureans to make a visit to this place. Actor Abishek Ambareesh was impressed with the theme of the setting which evoked the team spirit, calling it an ‘amazing place to watch the game.’
