Parthiv Patel retires from all forms of cricket
Wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel has retired from all forms of cricket. The 35-year-old who has had an illustrious 18-year-long career played for six different IPL teams and was with the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the last three years.
Parthiv, who made his debut as a 17-year-old under Sourav Ganguly, represented India in 25 Tests, 38 ODIs and two T20Is.

He made his Test debut two years before playing his first Ranji game and still holds the record for a youngest wicketkeeper in Tests.
Parthiv’s record as the captain of Gujarat in the domestic circuit has been nothing short of impeccable. He is the only Gujarat player to have played 100 Ranji Trophy games and has led his side to a Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare Trophy title.
