CSA supports BCCI’s decision of putting health and safety interests above everything else
On Tuesday, BCCI’s Indian Premier League Governing Council came up with a unanimous decision to suspend the 2021 edition of the tournament indefinitely with immediate effect. This decision came after a number of personnel within a few franchises tested positive for CoVID-19. The Indian sub-continent is currently battling the second wave of the virus outbreak.
The Board has assured all participants that they will have "secure and safe passage" to their respective homes, with the health and safety of all members involved being their highest priority.

"CSA wishes to extend its good wishes and support to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the people of India and thank the BCCI for keeping our players safe during this challenging time," the press release concluded.
